Happy Christmas from Jakarta!

There is some good news on the religious tolerance front:

And that is that both Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Vice-President Jusuf Kalla have said that they would attend a Christmas celebration on 27 December at the Jakarta Convention Center.

That’s an encouraging gesture, so well done to them.

As for me, I think all religious occasions are worthy of a celebration.
