There's no such thing as a free lunch...Or is there?

It's official. The next president of Indonesia is former army general Prabowo Subianto. Quite how the next five years will pan out is anyone's guess but hopefully the foreign pundits who always bring up his dodgy human rights record will be proven wrong. Nonetheless, on policy making, Prabowo's popularist move to literally offer the poor 'a free lunch' every day of the week does not augur well for the future. Such a policy - if it ever came to fruition - would cost a phenomenal amount of money and likely lead to huge inefficiencies (food waste) and poor incentives (make people lazy). Another concern is Prabowo's strong nationalist bent. Thus, in the possible event that he finds himself with his back against the proverbial wall in the face of stern economic challenges, there is a big chance that he will simply scapegoat foreigners. Tiara Lestari marries a German!!!

Famous for her legendary Playboy and Penthouse photoshoots, the former Javanese model Tiara Lestari gave it all up to get married and quickly vanished from the public eye.

Unfortunately for her, however, her marriage ended acrimoniously in 2011 and, for a while at least, she became one of Indonesia’s most desirable divorcees.

Many must have made advances while she was single. But there could only be one winner.

According to the Rakyat Merdeka newspaper, Stephen Oelkers is no stranger to Indonesia and has lived in Jakarta for some time.

But although it’s not clear what he does in Jakarta, Stephen appears to be doing very well for himself as he lives in a Rp10 billion house and has two luxury cars – a BMW and Vellfire.

Whether Tiara’s only child from her previous marriage (Rania) will move in with the happy couple is not clear, however. This is because Tiara and her former hubbie Andy Syarief are currently engaged in a bitter fight for their daughter’s custody.

Adding to the acrimony, Tiara has even accused Andy of failing to make promised maintenance payments.

Let’s just hope that’s not true.

Otherwise Tiara may have to take off her clothes again! Hahaha!!!!
